Inferno pistol damage varies a lot depending on who's using it, as they can be carried by Veteran Sister Superiors in Battle Sister, Seraphim, and Celestian squads, the Canoness, and the Confessor. This is important when fighting a person who prefers to go cheap on early troops and fast-tech to vehicles instead, and especially when facing a Dark Eldar army as they can produce Reaver Jetbikes in Tier 1.
